# What Takes Root

This museum show launches the Frost's Green Family Collection, which is devoted to work by South Florida artists. New acquisitions are displayed alongside earlier purchases, including pieces by José Bedia, Adler Guerrier, Yanira Collado and Rubén Torres-Llorca, among others. It runs as part of Miami Art Week 2026.

A solo exhibition at the Frost Art Museum at FIU, billed as the first major one in the US for the late Colombian artist Ofelia Rodríguez (1946-2023). It covers four decades of her painting, drawing, printmaking and assemblage, including her signature "magic boxes".
