An exhibition at the Musée de Montmartre treating the circus as a testing ground for modern art. It looks at the Cirque Fernando, later Medrano, in Montmartre, and the artists it inspired, among them Degas, Seurat, Toulouse-Lautrec, Picasso, Chagall, Rouault and Léger.
