Prix Marcel Duchamp 2026: announcement of the winner

The winner of the 2026 Prix Marcel Duchamp (€90,000 in total, €35,000 to the laureate), chosen from Joël Andrianomearisoa, Brognon Rollin, Laura Henno and Josèfa Ntjam by an international jury chaired by Xavier Rey, is announced at the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris during Art Week.

Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama's first Paris exhibition fills the whole building with new site-specific works, including Things Fall Apart, a reconstruction of a 1960s Ghanaian glass-bottle factory, and a version of Parliament of Ghosts that hosts talks and performances, alongside nine associated artists and collectives including James Barnor, Gideon Appah, Zohra Opoku and the CATPC. A textile installation will cover the façade arcades on the Place du Palais-Royal.
