About
Step into the haunting, dreamlike world of the late British painter John Kirby. In its first exhibition since his passing, Flowers Gallery presents a poignant survey centered around his 2013 masterwork, Boy. Known for his enigmatic, doll-like figures and surreal, pared-back landscapes, Kirby's deeply psychological paintings subvert traditional roles and expectations to explore the fragile thresholds of youth, fluid gender, and the profound ambiguities of the self.
