# Ali Cherri: Today Is OK

An exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo by French-Lebanese artist Ali Cherri, growing out of his new feature film *La Sentinelle*, which the museum co-produced and which screened at Cannes 2026. It brings together sets, sculptures and installations, including a monumental sculpture inspired by military monuments, and addresses war and its effects on bodies and imaginations.

French-Lebanese artist Ali Cherri extends his new feature film La Sentinelle (Cannes 2026, co-produced by the Palais de Tokyo) into an exhibition of sets, sculptures and installations, including a monumental sculpture inspired by military monuments, on war and its effects on bodies and imaginations.

- **Until Feb 14, 2027** · [Valérie John: I telman nwè ki i blé (So black it turns blue)](https://artweekguide.com/events/valerie-john-i-telman-nwe-ki-i-ble-so-black-it-turns-blue) — Museum at Palais de Tokyo, Trocadéro. A solo exhibition at Palais de Tokyo devoted to Valérie John, an artist based in Martinique. It looks at indigo blue as material, memory and gesture, through textiles, paper works and book assemblages made since the 1990s between the Caribbean and West Africa.
